2021 Annual Report & Highlights from our 8th Country Programme, which recently concluded in June 2022. This report details our shared achievements together with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, our donors, and partner civil society organizations, youth-led organizations, organizations of person's with disability, and sister UN Agencies. This report marks the closure of the UNFPA 8th Country Programme of Support to the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (2016/17- June 2022), and paves the way for continued partnership in our new 9th Country Programme 2022-2027. We are proud to share our joint impact over this recent period, including enhancing availability of sexual and reproductive health services, empowering young people through knowledge and skill building, and improving infant and maternal health services. Our work is guided by UNFPA’s Transformative Results, aiming to achieve the three zeros plus one: zero unmet need for family planning, zero preventable maternal deaths, zero gender-based violence and harmful practices, and zero new HIV infections.
